McGettigan Butchers were delighted to welcome HRH Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall to their shop in The Diamond, Donegal Town today as part of their visit to Co Donegal.
The royal couple sampled the award winning sausages and also visited Donegal Castle and Magee factory.

Europe wide recognition of the excellence of McGettigan’s range of sausages came in 2012 when they were made Chevaliers of the prestigous Commanderie des Fins Goustiers du Duche d’Alencon, France.
McGettigan’s mouth watering sausages have received numerous national awards for quality, flavour and originality. Leading independent judges from the Irish Food Writers Guild have given top marks to their sausages every year since 2001, including the title of Supreme Champion Butchers Sausage in 2010 and on four previous occasions.
